Darnell-Cookman Middle School welcomes you and your student(s) to the upcoming school year. We have plenty to offer and want you to be assured that your child is in the highest advanced middle school here in Jacksonville, Florida. The Parent Teacher Association will work closely with you and your child to ensure he or she will receive the best possible education available. Our staff and administrative personnel are devoted to your child’s education. We will work as a team to ensure that your child’s education at Darenll-Cookman is a memorable one. In order to achieve this, we will need your participation.PTA sponsors the Math Superstar Program, Teacher Appreciation Day, Student Directory, Beautification of the Grounds Program, Eighth Grade Dance, teacher materials, and other supporting programs. Without your assistance, we would not be able to provide the support and funding available to make our school the success it is.
Please join our team for only $5.00 cost and watch the school succeed. Your time and financial donations will assist in making our school a great success. We will provide envelopes at Student Orientation and after school starts. Please make sure you complete the envelope, insert your donation and provide your name, phone number, email address and any type of volunteer services with which you would like to assist.
I look forward to meeting each and every one of you this upcoming school year. If you are interested in joining PTA, serving on our board, or participating in any of our activities, please let me know.
